HS ran well all around, it was nice to take 4 medals almost 6 with Sio and Fred both just one place out, at 6th.   I think everyone who had someone in reach towards the end of their race, went fishing and caught their fish!  Reel ‘em in, guys!!!  I was a beautiful sight!!!   Team places are listed in the results, they VBOYS were right in the middle of team places, Good JOB!   Wth Austin they would have had a solid 3rd!   With Luke even closer or at second!  LUKE get healthy, keep icing and cross training, your team needs you, you will run championship no matter what!  ITS A TEAM THING!!  NO EXCEPTION, NEVER ARE!!   LADIES you ran well as usual, I am so happy with how you are steadily working your way through those 5k’s you are the pilot group of Wisconsin HS girls, being the first to run 5k.  Its amazing how much longer that feels than 4k hey?    This meet was about what our championship will feel and look like.  Except it will have hills!

You all ran really well after a long day of school work and a hard month of training.  Absolutely no disappointing races and lots of really nice finishes!   It was HOT for MS race, but the course was flat.

Our MS girls swept all three medals …DO-MIN-A-TION!  Havi just seems to keep pouring it on in every race, completely undefeated this year, so far!   Hannah & Glo are doing great too, setting some amazing personal records.  Emma is running hard and fast in our 4th spot, our 5-10 runners need to keep on ‘getting it going’ if we are going to have a chance at defending our 3 year MS girls championship record!  Camryn it’s looking like you are #5 we NEEEEED you to keep it up!   Love and Lexi and the twins are in there for the pusher spots 6 & 7, they will be vital positions so stay healthy and strongJ

Why?  It will be our 4 -7th runners that determines the finish place, not our 1-3rd!   This Tuesdays meet for example; I figured our girls team at second place even with the top 3 finishes.  We got 1-3rd place with only 6 point, but our 4 & 5th runners were quite a ways back from the top 7 on another teams which really added on points.  Remember 6 & 7 push other team runners back.  ITS DEFINETLY GOING BE A TEAM THING LADIES !!  ALWAYS IS!!

Larry continues to run gutsy, setting a speedy pace for the MS boys.  He got a nice silver medal and will continue to lead this dynamic group of boys to a first time ever! MS trophy in October!   Hoping it to be first!!  BUT IT WONT BE A CAKE WALK!  Keep up the awesome job MS boys team, you are really running tough!   By my calculations, you won the meet by the way!

I will post workouts on web tonight;  A ‘way to be on top of things’ hoot goes out to Nathanael for being the only one who mentioned to me that he noticed!

ON the whole it was great to finally race XC in Walworth County!   EAGLES you showed yourself PROUD!
