WOW!  ALL I can say is I AM IMPRESSED!
I hope several of you got ‘slightly’ bit by the race bug (parents included)!  XC Meets are so exciting to watch because we see our kids pushing through something very difficult.  Running a 5k is an excellent life experience of the Biblical teaching of enduring the trial and ‘literally’ running the good race or fighting the good fight!

If you hadn’t noticed yet; I set the 2015 XC theme as EAGLES! Strongest EVER!!! I have also made several references to the idea that I would like to see 4 trophies won by EAGLES teams at the Home School Championship in October.  After winning 1 trophy in years one and two, then 2 in our third year, and then amazingly taking three Firsts last year, I decided right then that 2015 would be the year of trophy hogging! Teams have cycles of up and down; I believe we have our strongest teams at all four levels that we have ever had! I feel pretty confident the girls and MS boys teams will take a first or second again (hopefully all firsts again!)
It will be up to our HS boys’ team to make this trophy hogging event happen.  Last year our HS boys’ team was the fastest they had ever been, but took the lowest place ever too.  But we were a younger team and the ones that dominated the meet were senior dominant.  DASH, who was second, for instance, lost 6 of their top guys for this season, unless something happens they are out of contention, their coach so much as told me so.  Holy Family was third last year and we saw them yesterday, no problem… Chippewa Valley was first, but they lost two of their top three, but have consistently done well, they are always a factor.  There are newbies that come in; we have had our share in our favor this year. J
Our HS boys will have to want a trophy and affirm their part in it for the next two months if it’s going to be a trophy hogging year! I believe for the first time that they can, do you?  Last year’s results:

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might… Ephesians 6:10
